What's the Body Blog

Dear Weaklings,
Welcome to the Body Blog. This is an outlet for us to chart our progress as we get into the shape that we have been dreaming of, but have been putting off, and to do so while charting our progress for ninety days. We all have different goals, and thats cool, but this will be a great way to stop making excuses and be accountable.

How do I start?
This is going to be a very visual record, SO TAKE SOME "BEFORE" PICTURES OF YOURSELF. The requirements are a full body front view and a full body side view. Its okay if you don't look like a model yet, just man up 'n get'r done.
Before
After
If you work real hard, you might even look like Matthew McConaughey does now!

What's next?
Talk about your goals. You can post your current weight, measurements, etc. along with what you want them to be at the end of the ninety days. Stretch yourself, but be realistic.

THEN WHAT?!?!!??!!!

First off, stop yelling at me immediately.
You will post your status once a week, preferably on Monday. This will consist of pictures and whatever else you choose to include, such as your new weight/measurements. Obviously it will take a while to see any serious results and it is likely that you will all pale in comparison to Darren, which could have a serious impact on your self esteem, but that is part of the realistic thing.

Remember, one of the most important aspects of this will be your nutrition. It will be beneficial if you chart your daily calorie intake and let us know how you did on your weekly updates. There are numerous online resources where you can put in your age, weight, and activity level in order to determine what your daily intake should be.

Check out the daily plate feature at livestrong.com where you can sign up for free. Put in your info, and track it for free.

Lastly
If you have any tips/ideas or know of any great workouts, nutrition, or other helpful resources, let everyone know about them through a short 'n helpful post.
Also, don't be afraid to talk a little "smack" (to use the vernacular of the street) in your posts. Words of encouragement are not-discouraged either.

Commit to this and you won't regret it!
You will note that your happiness and confidence levels increase exponentially as you commit to this challenge and actually do it. So, stop being sissies and start living like you know you should.

When do we start?

Good question!!!!! As soon as you read this.

When does it end?

Stupid question!!!!! Hopefully it becomes a way of life. Nonetheless, we plan to chart our progress until about... shall we say... September 7th.

Keep in touch, it is easy to make comments on the posts that people make on the blog. If you have something to say, just do it.
